21Ride.com is a vehicle ride share website allowing users to post and search vehicle rides worldwide. Members can create their own profile and build up a feedback score from other members. It is free to post and search for rides and there is no membership fee.
•What are the benefits of Posting Your Ride?

• What are the Costs of Posting Your Ride?
There are no registration or membership fees to use the website. 21Ride.com only charges a small transaction fee when rides are paid and received between users; all payments are made securely via PayPal.
* If you purchase a ride, you simply pay the amount the driver is asking, plus 15% of your total purchase to cover transaction fees and admin costs.
* Drivers will be paid the sum of seat sales that they have made from their ride 48hours after their departure time, 15% is deducted from the payment to cover transaction fees and admin costs.
• How safe is Posting Your Ride?
Although 21Ride.com cannot be held responsible for the safety of users nor the information and security that profiles/feedback charts may pose, the service has been designed to provide the safest possible experience for users.
Profiles and feedback systems have been set up for users to judge the safety of a chosen ride for themselves. 21Ride.com payment system allows users to cover the cost of there ride securely.

• How can I get involved?
If you wish to cover the cost of your ride all you have to do is simply follow the registration process of 21Ride.com, it will not take you long.
If you wish to travel at the lowest cost and purchase a ride all you have to do is search for a ride, once you find a suitable ride you can then simply follow the registration process and purchase your ride.

• What are the insurance implications?
Motor Conference Undertaking
The receipt of contributions as part of a car sharing arrangement for social or other similar purposes in respect of the carriage of passengers on a journey in a vehicle insured under a private car policy will not be regarded as constituting the carriage of passengers for hire or reward (or the use of the vehicle for hiring) provided that:
1. The vehicle is not constructed or adapted to carry more than eight passengers excluding the driver.
2. The passengers are not being carried in the course of a business carrying passengers
3. The total contributions received for the journey concerned do not involve an element of profit
Note. If in any doubt whether a car sharing scheme arrangement is covered by the terms of a private car policy the policyholders concerned should make an inquiry to their motor insurers. It is entirely your responsibility to notify your insurance provider of your intent to carry paying passengers and ensure that you have adequate insurance coverage to protect yourself and your passengers before posting a ride.
21Ride.com Terms and Conditions, disclaimers and privacy acts are subject to British Law, any member registering for membership with 21Ride.com must confirm with their countries laws, regulations and procedures in conjunction with ride sharing via a website that generates members ride share payments.

• Is it possible to find travelling companions of the same sex? (Single sex travelling i.e. Only females)
Yes it is, both drivers and passengers can customise their posting or search to travel with a single sex. You can also customise your posting or search by:
• Age
• Smoking vehicle
• Music preferences
• Driving or criminal convictions
• If pets can also ride
• Luggage allowance
• Where should I arrange to meet my travelling companions?
The driver is asked to provide passengers with a detailed pick up and drop of point for the ride, we always recommend for security reasons that this drop off point is not your place of stay. We advise you to detail your pick up and drop off point that is a well known, busy public place that allows vehicles to park and wait, e.g. supermarket, shopping centre, sports centre, library, movie theatre, train station, bus station, tourist attraction, university campus.
Bus and train stations are normally more convenient to passengers as they can arrange further travel more easily. Members are provided with travelling companions contact numbers after a ride has been purchased (for emergency use only); members can also contact each other by message via 21Ride.com.
• Will any of my personal information be visible to other users?
The registration process will always indicate to you what information is viewable to other users. Information such as your Name, E-mail, address, is private information that is not shared with anyone.
• What happens if my purchased ride fails?
This is what makes 21Ride.com so special; if your purchased ride fails and is proven, passengers will receive a full refund including any transaction fees that they have paid. Passengers will also have the opportunity to leave negative feedback on the driver’s profile. This service is only available when members use the website payment option.
• How do I edit or cancel my membership?
No worries, if you wish to edit any of your personal information or your profile this can be easily done in your account. If you wish to cancel you membership just contact us and we shall terminate it for you.
