Although 21Ride.com cannot be held responsible for the safety of users nor the information and security that profiles/feedback charts may pose, the service has been designed to provide the safest possible experience for users. Profiles and feedback systems have been set up for users to judge the safety of a chosen ride for themselves.

Safety tips for drivers:

  • View the members profile before accepting a member for a ride
  • Read and take into consideration the feedback comments from other members
  • Never exchange any personal information
  • Have somebody with you on the drop off and pick up of the ride or phone/text a friend or family
  • Always arrange meeting and drop of points in well known busy public places
  •  Refuse to share a ride with a passenger(s) if he/she/they show(s) any sign of being under the influence of alcohol, drugs or behaving inappropriately
  • Always stick to the agreed route and arrangements made
  • As long as no profit is being made from the agreed ride price advertised, most insurance companies provide cover whilst carrying paying passengers. However, you must check these details with your insurance company before posting or purchasing a ride.

  • If you are not comfortable with a driver's driving style then politely ask the driver to take your concerns into consideration; if they do not comply, exit the vehicle at a safe stage
  • Always stick to the agreed route and arrangements made
  • Ask to view drivers licence.
